Due to time constraints, financial constraints, general lack of interest as well as far different priorities from when this site was created, the webmaster of Peach State Roads, JT Legg, has decided to discontinue the site. This site has existed since August 11, 2003 and has changed much since its humble beginnings, but much has changed in the webmaster's life since the creation of the site and he feels that this site no longer fits those priorities.
Eventually, discussion and content from this site will be reintroduced in a much more reduced form in a new blog site also called Peach State Roads. This will be far less work for the webmaster and will allow ideas presented on here to be better presented for discussion, which was always a major purpose of the site. It is still the webmaster's goal to bring attention to transportation-related causes and to eventually create major reform to the state highway system in Georgia into a more standardized, uniform and better maintained road system than exists today. Possibly at some later date, this site will return but that will depend on numerous factors that are not present at the current time.
Alex Nitzman and Andy Field were kind enough to let JT place this site on AARoads from late 2006 to present, and this allowed the site to remain online longer than previously possible. While this arrangement has served the webmaster well, he no longer feels comfortable with this arrangement and will offer photos of interest to the two webmasters of AARoads if desired as well as some content as a show of appreciation for their generosity to keep this site online.
