Route Information, History and Termini Gallery

Located in Madison County in the northeast corner of the state, GA 191 is a six-mile long connector route northeast of Danielsville. The route serves as a cutoff between GA 98 east and U.S. 29 north.

History

Commissioned in the 1940's, GA 191 was one of the earliest rural highways to be paved that was not a major highway.
