Route Information, History, Photo and Termini Gallery
For those traveling along the corridor from Athens to I-85 or vice versa, GA 327 serves as a cutoff northwest of Royston from U.S. 29 to GA 17. The highway, extending 10 miles in Franklin County, also serves Victoria Bryant State Park. GA 327, locally known as Park Road, is quite scenic with sweeping pastoral views and a backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains northbound where the highway travels atop an elevated area. Overall, however, GA 327 has light traffic as most of the through traffic elects to stick to the major highways in the area.

History
GA 327 was first commissioned in 1961. Fully paved upon commissioning, except for a few minor improvements the highway has remained largely unchanged since that time.
