Route Information, History, Photo and Termini Gallery
Winding GA 328 located in Stephens and Franklin Counties primarily exists to serve Tugaloo State Park. Extending 10.5 miles, GA 328 crosses, but does not have an interchange with I-85 and is located along Lake Hartwell near the South Carolina border. Locally known as Poplar Springs Road, the highway also crosses part of Lake Hartwell where the lake backs up along Gumlog Creek.

History
GA 328 was first commissioned in 1961 along with many other state routes added in the area that year. The highway was fully paved upon commissioning and has seen no changes since it was first commissioned.
