Route Information, History and Historic Termini Gallery
Lake Jodeco Road extends from Jonesboro in Clayton County to GA 42/U.S. 23 northwest of McDonough in the unincorporated town of Flippen in Henry County. The former route of GA 351 extends 11.9 miles throughout the sprawling suburbs on an east-west course with an interchange at I-75.

History

GA 351 first appeared on the state highway system in 1962-63. Fully paved upon commissioning, the route was later decommissioned in 1985. However, signs showing GA 351 for Lake Jodeco Road remained on I-75 into the 1990's.

Old GA 351 roughly connects the county seats of Jonesboro and McDonough, but that was not enough to save the highway from a return to local control (1984 GDOT Map).
