Bloopers and Oddities

Here is the ugly, lazy and downright stupid on Georgia roads. The sad part is that most of this does not seem to be an accident.

Ugly arrow sign in Cherokee County A mentally challenged arrow sign at the end of Toonigh Road in Cherokee County.
We're only going to warn you that a cement truck might t-bone you Claxton says that you can yield if you want to.
Another year or two and you could grow grass on the front of this sign. This sign on Old S.R. 5 in Gilmer County itself is hazardous...to your health. All of the signs here on Old S.R. 5 have since been replaced in a LONG overdue state-funded safety project. Not much of a surprise that it took the state to fix it.
Shooting two birds with one shot, brilliant! Banks County here on Apple Pie Ridge Road tells you to stop ahead and look out for busses while you're at it.
This would make a perfect fireplace mantle to match our red shag carpet. This non-reflective funky hooded wood stop sign (and many more like it) is found on a privately owned road in Pickens County.
You know it's strictly enforced when the font is bold and hardly legible. Um, what font is that Douglas County? I don't think that a sign that doesn't look like a highway sign should be enforceable.
Barney means business. Same goes for you, Cherokee County. Barney means business with those italicized Arial numbers.
Clusterf*** Can you get all of that at 45 MPH? I'm not sure I can either. This cluster is formerly located on Old S.R. 5 in Gilmer County.
They straightened out this curve and forgot to take the sign down for 20 years...NOT. Apparently a curve ahead is not really all that important. Sign located until recently on Big Creek Road in Gilmer County.
Cuts like a knife and sorta functions like a guardrail. I'd say this is unsafe at ANY speed. What do you think, Ellijay Street Department? Thought so. Oh, and this is Old S.R. 5 again. GDOT did NOT fix this atrocity, unfortunately.
